NL NICC is een non-profit vzw gerund voor en door kunstenaars, het is opgericht door professionele beeldende kunstenaars om op te komen voor hun rechten. Ons doel is het opzetten van een kwalitatief maatschappelijk kader waarbinnen de autonome kunstenaarspraktijk zich professioneel kan ontwikkelen.
Het NICC fungeert als bemiddelaar tussen de kunstenaars en de overheid, kunstorganisaties en andere actoren in het culturele veld. Naast een programma van maatschappelijke acties, reflectie en onderzoek presenteert het NICC een artistiek programma van lezingen, tentoonstellingen, symposia en presentaties over de hedendaagse beroepspraktijk.
Door lid te worden helpt u kunstenaars een stem te geven.

EN NICC is a non-profit artists initiative run by and for artists, it is founded by professional visual artists in order to advocate their rights. Our aim is to set up a qualitative social framework within which the autonomous artistic practice can develop professionally.
NICC functions as a mediator between the artists and the government, art organizations, and other actors in the cultural field. In addition to a program of social actions, reflection, and research, the NICC presents an artistic program of lectures, exhibitions, symposiums, and presentations on contemporary professional practice.
