NICC is a non-profit artists initiative run by and for artists, it is founded by professional visual artists in order to advocate their rights. Our aim is to set up a qualitative social framework within which the autonomous artistic practice can develop professionally.

NICC functions as a mediator between the artists and the government, art organizations, and other actors in the cultural field. In addition to a program of social actions, reflection, and research, the NICC presents an artistic program of lectures, exhibitions, symposiums, and presentations on contemporary professional practice.

Astrid Collectief

According to the COVID19 exit-strategy the ASTRID Collectief is taking action. Every Wednesday they built up a new vitrine which results in a new presentation on Thursday.  No openings so far.

Astrid Collectief is a multidisciplinary art collective, founded in the Koningin Astridpark in Ghent (summer 2017).

The dream is to create a place where friendship and creativity go hand in hand, where each can work with their own passions. By searching together for what the art world can mean, can offer, can be. We want to show what is still possible these days. Proving that art doesn't just consist of white walls and expensive price tags. We don't need much, Just trust and a place is enough.
