CCINQ is a space for visual arts where two individual artists’ practices collide. The viewer is to be directly confronted with a radical, stripped back and simple display: an encounter bringing together one work from each artist. Exchange and action will stem from this “face-off”. These two artistic standpoints do not only gaze at each other but also allow for a conversation to take place.

Two times one work of two different artists to allow a conversation. We call it: A one-on-one exhibition at Nick Lodgers. With the artists, Shigeko Kubota & Patrick Carpentier, Kohei Yoshiyuki & Nicolas Leroy

In this two shows, everything evokes an animism that makes the artist an intermediary, a sort of shaman. A scarp look on our society and our relationship to the world.

Unfortunately, for the opening on the 24th of September (from 18h – 23h) you will have to book a timeslot to visit the exhibition:
