Dit jaar reist de Biënnale van Mol-Rauw door naar de NICC Vitrine met het volgende programma;

07/09: Felting darkness 18-20u

We heten u welkom om deel te nemen aan het viltproces om een lampenkap te maken voor een gemeenschappelijke lantaarn. Zo ervaar je het potentieel van het omarmen van duisternis.

07/09: Public cinema system 21-23u

Terwijl een thuisbioscoop de ultieme filmkijkervaring biedt met surround sound-systemen en HD-vertoningen, biedt deze publieke bioscoop je de kans om films te zien in een unieke en communale omgeving. Privé-eigendom naar de gemeenschap brengen, en dat allemaal terwijl je een copyleft film bekijkt. 

08/09:  Social weaving of the white cube 13-20u

Met wit textiel waar de  buurtbewoners overschot van hebben, weven de kunstenaars een textielen tentoonstellingsruimte. 

09/09:  Communal dinner 18u

De kunstenaars zullen samen met iedereen die wil aanschuiven een maaltijd bereiden en nuttigen. Aan dit diner zijn geen kosten verbonden, want je ruilmiddel is je aandacht en de uitwisseling van kennis. We zullen ons verdiepen in verschillende onderwerpen, waaronder de vraag “hoe te integreren in de maatschappij”. Het is aan te raden om voor de gelegenheid je eigen bestek en bord mee te nemen.

10/09:  Vitrine construction

De kunstenaars van de Biënnale van Mol Rauw bepalen wat er te zien zal zijn in de NICC Vitrine.

 

EN For the upcoming NICC Vitrine-project, NICC invites the Biennale of Mol-Rauw. The opening will take place during Art Anderlecht on 07.09.2023.

Every year, the Biennale of Mol-Rauw settles in the village of Rauw in Mol. A (g)local group of artists considers the village its artistic playground for 10 days. They collaborate with the villagers to create interdisciplinary art. Through this art, a new question is always explored. After the question of how to survive as an artist, this year the artists are toiling and putting in the work to discover how to become a part of society. How to be part of society – Biennale 2023.

This year the Mol-Rauw Biennale travels on to the NICC Vitrine with the following program;

07/09:  Felting darkness 18-20u 

You are welcome to participate in the felting process of crafting a lampshade for a communal lantern. This will allow you to experience the potential of embracing darkness.

07/09: Public cinema system 21-23u 

While a home cinema provides the ultimate movie-watching experience with surround sound systems and HD screenings, the public cinema setup offers you the chance to encounter films in unique and communal settings. Dragging private property into the commons, all while watching a copyleft movie. 

08/09: Social weaving of the white cube 13-20u 

Using white textiles that neighbours have in excess, the artists will weave these textiles into an exhibition space. 

09/09: Communal dinner 18u 

The artists will plan to prepare and enjoy a meal together with everybody who wants to join. This dinner comes at no cost, as your currency will be your attention and the exchange of knowledge. We’ll delve into various subjects, including the inquiry of “how to integrate into society.” It’s advisable to bring your own utensils and plate for the occasion.

10/09: Vitrine construction

The artists of the Biennal of Mol Rauw decide what will be shown in the NICC Vitrine.
