NL  Een grote luchtvaartmaatschappij nodigt een klein filmcollectief uit om hun films over antikoloniaal verzet te vertonen aan boord van hun vluchten. Veel redenen om het aanbod te accepteren en net zoveel om te weigeren. Een gesprek ontvouwt zich – over de rol van de luchtvaartmaatschappij in gedwongen deportaties, over budgetten die niet bestaan, over het risico bij te dragen aan het oppoetsen van hun imago. Maar ook over de bereidheid van sommige leden van het collectief om het koloniale verleden van het bedrijf onder ogen te zien, over de kans om een problematisch beleid aan de kaak te stellen en een boodschap te delen met duizenden passagiers.

EN   A major airline invites a small film collective to screen their films on anti-colonial resistance aboard its flights. Many reasons to accept, and just as many to refuse. A conversation unfolds—about the airline’s role in forced deportations, about budgets that don’t exist, about the risk of contributing to the laundering of their image. But also about the willingness of some insiders to confront the company’s colonial past, about the chance to expose problematic policies and share a message with thousands of passengers.
