Antwerp Art Weekend

Can or should artists be activists? Can activism be good art? Has activism become a hollow concept? Or has activism become a ‘lifestyle’? Where and when is artistic activism disturbing, provocative, or just annoying?

At BOTANICC we will focus on these questions through the medium of a new book, posters, a movie, a curated selection from the archive, and all this in the physical presence of some activist artists.
